Hello! I’m Jocelyn
Welcome to my photography world! I'm Jocelyn, a Portland Maine photography proud native of South Portland where my passion for photography ignited at the young age of 12. What began as a childhood hobby evolved into a fulfilling profession in 2018, as I pursued my dream of capturing life's moments through my lens. Graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 2022 provided me with the foundation to refine my craft and pursue my artistic vision. I love that photographs can make us reminisce, and I love that my job is to create those images for you.
I bring a thoughtful, authentic, and creative approach to my photography so that your photos will feel exactly like your tears, laughs, and hand squeezes. I'm here to tell your story so you can be fully present together. But the photography isn't just about the day of. It's about the planning leading up to it as well. I will be there to capture the small details with you, provide tips and my expertise, and create a photography timeline tailored to your celebration so that you don't even have to give it a second thought on your day.
I’m quite down-to-earth and sarcastic. I love random chats about life, traveling, and creating art. When we meet, I can promise you 2 things - laughs till your stomach hurts as well as beautiful photo memories that we’ll create together.
FAQs
Do I Travel?
I am available to travel for weddings outside of Portland, Maine, and will go to the location of your wedding anywhere in the world. Some of the states I have previously attended weddings in include North Carolina, New York, and New Jersey.
Are you involved in the planning process?
I most definitely can be! I would love to help you plan your special day. I am always available to help - but of course, some people would rather stick to their wedding planners. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything! I want my clients to know I am always available to help with their special day!
When do I receive our photos?
For weddings, I have a 2-4 week turnaround time. I will send over a preview within 24 hours after the wedding. This will include a few sneak peek photos from the wedding day!
Wedding coverage includes
Wedding coverage includes 4-8 hours of coverage online gallery, high-res digital downloads, and a print release. This means that you receive the photos digitally and you can use them as you wish! Travel is added to any package outside of 1 hour.
